Embedded electronic equipment for stratospheric altitude balloons.

It is a technical sub-set of the Strateole 2 program, whose progress can be followed here. Strateole-2 is a stratospheric pressurized balloon observing program to study the dynamics of the atmosphere in the intertropical zone. The program uses stratospheric pressurized balloons with a diameter of 11 to 13 metres carrying light payloads of the order of 22 kg. Filled with helium, these sealed balloons drift at an altitude of 18 to 20 kilometres for 3 to 4 months. They are carried by winds and can travel up to 80,000 kilometres. Stratéole-2 will take place between fall 2019 and spring 2025 in three major campaigns totalling some 50 flights.
